Fairport’s Cropredy Convention is renowned for attracting a cross-generational family audience. We know of festival-goers who attended their first Cropredy with their parents and who still come every year – but now with their own children and grandchildren.

It’s not just the audience that spans the generations. On the other side of the footlights families perform or gather together to enjoy the show.

This year was no exception. Take the English Rock Ensemble for instance: the band features Rick Wakeman’s son Adam (keyboards), bassist Matt Pegg (pictured here with his father, Fairport’s Dave) and Mollie Marriot on vocals (Mollie is pictured with her step-father Joe Brown).
