Cropredy Newsletter
Hello FairportersJust a couple of days to go and a timely reminder of the changes etc this year. Firstly – we’ve SOLD OUT of both festival tickets and camping stickers and neither will be available on site. If you don’t have a festival ticket, please don’t come looking for one. If you don’t have camping sticker, you will have to find alternative camping arrangements. If you have lost/forgotten your tickets, please bring the Proof of Purchase email. Again, if you have any queries regarding tickets, please contact AXS direct as the festival office does not have access to the data. Fields 4 & 5 are out of use this year. You will see we have been allowed a small section at the top of Field 5 but this is strictly for the wonderful Scouts. Once fields 1 & 2 are full, please head over to Fields 7a & 7b. Gate 6 (between Williamscot Rd and Field 6) is also not in use and all traffic entering and leaving Field 6 must do so via The Main Deliveries Gate and via Gates A & B across the top of the arena. During the road closures each night after the show (usually about 30 mins or so) traffic in Field 6 will be held at Gate B until we’re clear. With the exception of Broad Meadow Glamping, all our campsites open at 07.00 on Thursday and the Scouts will be there to guide you in. Please do not arrive before then – there are villagers who need to get to work and do not appreciate traffic queues. There is also a No Waiting restriction on Williamscot Rd. which will be enforced by our friends at Thames Valley Police. Lost and Found property this year is being looked after by our good friends WAVES who also take care of the Lost and Found children. They are based in the compound at the top of the arena. Peggy and Ralph McTell have a great new CD out – ‘Old Pals Act’ – 15 tracks recorded on their last tour. They’ll be doing a signing in the Signing Marquee at 17.45 on Thursday so have those copies ready! All CDs will be available in the Music In The Green Marquee next to the signing Tent.
See you in the field! Simon, Peggy, Ric, Chris and DM |
