Fame and Glory is a collection of instrumentals and songs that Fairport have contributed to Breton genius and dreamer Alan Simon's ongoing song cycle on the Arthurian legend since 1998.
This huge project is truly impressive when fully staged - there were over 100 musicians on the stage in Paris when last performed - but Fairport were the 'house band' and had to cover a huge number of bases.
We hope you'll be pleasantly surprised to hear us playing some less-than-familiar songs with some unexpected colleagues (including the Prague Symphony Orchestra).
